We have numerous opportunities at Columbus Humane for group volunteering! From school and organization groups to coworkers or a group of friends, participating in service work is a worthwhile experience that always impacts our mission.
Group volunteer activities vary depending on the current needs of the shelter, so no two experiences are the same! Thank you for serving with us, every opportunity makes a big difference in the lives of pets and people in Columbus.
Columbus Humane asks that each group has at least five people to participate in a group volunteer experience, with accommodation up to 15 people. If you have less than five people or more than 15 people in your group, please let us know when contacting us about volunteering.
Volunteers must be at least 16-years-old to volunteer in group opportunities at Columbus Humane.
Volunteers ages 16-17 must also have parental consent to participate in group volunteering and have an adult present with your group.
All group participants will need to fill out a Columbus Humane Group Volunteer Waiver and Release" prior to volunteering at Columbus Humane. This waiver will be sent out ahead of your volunteer experience.
