Welcome to the Columbus Humane Essential Care Center! As a new client, please fill out our registration form below so we can get to know you. The Essential Care Center provides heavily subsidized sick and injured care to pet families who cannot otherwise afford traditional veterinary care in our community. Many of our clients live paycheck-to-paycheck, face barriers securing enough food AND want the very best for their pets.
If veterinary care is already within reach for you—PLEASE keep supporting your current veterinary practice and help reserve our services for pet families who need them most. Lives are depending on it.
Our Pet Food Pantry serves local residents who love their pets and struggle to afford pet food. We provide nutritious pet food for pet families who need occasional assistance feeding their loved ones.
Our work is made possible through generous donations from organizations and individuals. You may wonder why we ask for certain demographic information in our new client form–this is collected to continue acquiring funding for this facility. Our grant funders and donors like to know who we serve, so sharing a little bit about yourself helps us continue operation! Thank you for your support.
